Tommy Avallone, Jordan McSorley, Jon Dean, Mike Pallante and Dave Malloy are five normal guys that are taking on a mission to raise money for the fight against cancer in a most peculiar way.  These five strapping young men will stop shaving for a year, in attempts to raise money for the fight against cancer, seeking sponsors to give them a dollar, or more, for every day that they don't shave.  There are no angles, no gimmicks, just five dudes out to fight against cancer by any means possible.

Beards for Cancer began on December 3, 2003 when Tommy Avallone, Ryan Petrillo, and Alex Wildman took on the no-shave challenge for the first time ever starting this non-profit organization, BEARDS FOR CANCER! And continued in 2004 with two other fellows, and combined with Tommy, Ryan, and Alex have raised close to 10,000 dollars within its two year run.
